I am walking through the centre and suburban areas of Reykjavik with a video camera while finger pointing to scenery. A grid frame made from wire is attached to my hand as my „sniper‘s scope“(shooter‘s view). This „sniper scope“ I made inspired by renaissance period‘s „frame of grid“ technique, which painters used to help create paintings with perspective. This video work/performative walking refers to the Situationist‘s psychogeography concept of „dérive“, and has visual realtion to „shooter“ video games. Work was created during „Migrating Art Academies“ workshop „Edges“ in Iceland, Reykjavik.
